Specific IgE – Apple (f49)

0 Azn

This test evaluates the level of specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) to apples. It is used to identify apple allergies and predict the effectiveness of allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT).

  • The test can be taken 2 hours after the last meal.
  • Do not smoke for 3 hours before the test.
  • Avoid physical and emotional stress for 1 hour before the test.
  • Swelling of the mucous membrane in the throat
  • Runny nose
  • Watery eyes
  • Fever
  • Elevated levels indicate that the condition has an allergic origin, and apples may be a potential allergen.
  • Normal levels suggest no detectable IgE-mediated apple allergy, but other forms of allergic reactions may still be possible if symptoms persist.
