Covid-19 İgG

IgG is an indicator of immunity, and a positive result suggests that you have previously been exposed to the Covid-19 virus. IgG antibodies typically become detectable 10–14 days after the onset of symptoms.

A positive IgG result also indicates immunity and protection against reinfection. However, while immunity may exist, it is still uncertain what level of protection it provides and how long it will persist in the blood.

It is recommended to avoid food intake for 2 hours before the test.

The test is needed to determine if immunity against the Covid-19 virus has developed and whether the infection has been resolved.
