InBody - Body Analyzer
The number shown on a standard scale only reflects your total body weight and does not indicate how much of that weight comes from muscle or fat. In such cases, the InBody body composition analyzer provides a detailed assessment of your body’s key indicators, including muscle mass, body fat percentage, and body water balance. It quickly and accurately analyzes body composition within approximately 15-120 seconds.
Procedure for the Examination
During the test, the patient stands barefoot on the device platform while holding the designated hand grips. Unlike traditional devices, InBody does not rely on general assumptions such as age or gender when calculating results. Instead, the device performs all measurements based on real data directly obtained from your body, allowing for more accurate results tailored to each individual’s unique body composition.

Preparation for the Examination
For maximum accuracy, please follow the recommendations below:
- Stop eating and drinking at least 3 hours before the examination.
- Exercise on the day of the test may affect your body’s fluid and muscle balance. Allow at least an 8-hour break after your last workout.
- Do not take a shower, sauna, or hot bath at least 3 hours before the examination.
- Do not apply creams, lotions, or ointments to your hands or feet, as they may interfere with the device’s skin contact.
- Remove metal objects and heavy clothing (rings, bracelets, etc.) before the examination.
- Limit alcohol consumption for 24 hours before the test and excessive caffeine intake for 12 hours before the test.
- Menstruation may affect the results; the ideal time for examination is 5–7 days after the menstrual period.
Remember: change starts not on the scale, but in balance.
