Allergy is an abnormal reaction of the body to harmless foreign substances, which can significantly reduce the quality of life and, in some cases, become life-threatening. It can cause breathing difficulties, dry cough, and wheezing. The Respiratory Panel (35 most common allergens) is used to identify the allergen responsible for these symptoms.
- The test can be taken 2 hours after the last meal.
- Do not smoke for 3 hours before the test.
- Avoid physical and emotional stress for 1 hour before the test.
This panel is recommended for individuals experiencing the following symptoms:
- Sneezing
- Runny nose
- Nasal congestion
- Itching in the nasal cavity
- Throat irritation
- Upper respiratory complaints, such as coughing
- Weakness
- Headache
- General complaints such as migraines
- A physician evaluates the test results.
- In case of a positive result, further analysis of individual allergens within the panel is recommended.
